GEMS is a duo out of Washington D.C. consisting of Clifford John and Lindsay Pitts. They have just released their second single, “All I Ever” after living and recording for a month at an empty beach house in North Carolina. The song features the voices of both band members, and the music really fits in with the band’s self given genre of “dark dream pop.” In addition, its kind of catchy. GEMS also released a single about a month ago called “Void Moon,” which you can check out here. The band hasn’t been around for too long, but they are already putting out some good material, so I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
