bellsatlas2I wrote about Oakland based afro-indie-soul band Bells Atlas back in January, and the group has just released their third and final single from their self-titled EP. “Incessant Noise” contains elements of Brazilian drums and West African guitar riffs, all complimented by the voice of Nigerian-American singer/songwriter Sandra Lawson-Ndu. Like before, Bells Atlas uses multilayered vocals, and the international elements that the group includes gives the music a very unique feel. I love how Bells Atlas successfully combines these foreign elements with soul and other modern musical aspects.  Stay tuned for a full length album coming this summer and listen to “Incessant Noise” below.
